Several counties in our metro area participate in the nationwide ‘Property Fraud Alert’ program to help prevent property fraud crimes, which can include illegal ownership transfers of real estate property.
Property owners in:
- City of St Louis
- St Louis County
- St Charles County
- Franklin County
- Jefferson County
- Warren County
- and numerous other Missouri counties
can participate in the program free of charge and are notified via email when documents matching their registered name (personal or business) are recorded.
This service does not prevent fraud, but provides an early warning system to allow subscribers to take appropriate action. If you suspect you are a victim of fraud, contact law enforcement.
